I have always admired how powerful a good gospel song can be. There are some things that a gospel song can make you feel that a rap song never will. I always wanted to give the people something that they could dance to and worship to at the same time. I think we came pretty close with this one. I love this song by Kurt Carr and so I called up PRo who is an extremely talented music producer and artist and asked him if he could chop up the song in a creative way. The result was the song "Praise. Its a song about holding on to God's unchanging hand even when...No matter what the obstacles are in your life God will see you though. Every scenario that I express in the song is a reality for me and my life. The car accident the ebt cards the mechanic trying to screw me over. Thats all real. I wrote it from a real personal place. But God has brought me though these trials "And it is for this I give You praise."
